Would love to meet Mr. Canada. An inspiring man, for certain. Profound: “If you care about rats, why throw them in the water?”

As he reminds us, teaching IS hard. . .After learning yesterday about the tragic death of a former student from a drug overdose, we MUST do everything in our power to change the odds. Simply put, our children are worth it.

Biz, So sorry to hear about your former student. Tragic, in deed. In the spirit of doing all we can to change the odds, I offer you this link below. It was an extraordinary event I attended yesterday. I will offer my reflections on this blog soon. Until then, keep spreading the word on dynamic teaching.

Thanks for the encouragement. The more I listen to Geoffrey Canada the more I like what he says. Both his heart and mind are in the right place.
